We are pleased to be able to open the doors of Calverley Old Hall once more for a limited number of tours in September, in association with Heritage Open Days.
Calverley Old Hall is a Grade I Listed medieval manor house which is currently on the Heritage at Risk register, now under restoration by The Landmark Trust. Located in the village of Calverley, between Bradford and Leeds, the Hall has a fascinating past which spans over 700 years of history, with many stories to tell.
Join us on Friday 15 September for a hard hat tour and the opportunity to explore the Old Hall in the midst of its restoration. This will be one of the last opportunities to see the hall before Spring/Summer 2024, so it is certainly an opportunity not to be missed.
Tours are free, but advance booking is essential as places are limited.
There will be 6 tours of the site which will run every 45 minutes, with the first tour leaving at 10.30am, and the last leaving at 2.15pm. Please ensure that you are booking the correct time for your tour as numbers will be limited in each group.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your tour to be fitted with a hard hat and Hi-visibility vest.
